Rip Currents
Rip currents and stronger water movement may develop during rougher surf conditions or changing tides.
Tidal Hazards
Incoming tides can cut off some rock areas and reduce access around caves and lower rock shelves. Visitors exploring the edges of the bay should remain tide aware.
Safe Swimming Areas
Swimming is safest during calmer sea conditions and within lifeguarded areas when patrols are operating.
