A personal introduction
Over the years I've walked them, cycled across them, camped on them, sailed their rivers and spent countless hours simply wandering without much of a plan.
Some memories are clear. Others have faded around the edges. A few still make me laugh. And one or two still give me a slight shiver when I think about them.
These aren't guidebooks or history lessons. They're simply stories from a lifetime spent exploring the South West. Some are funny. Some are challenging. Some are strange.
All of them happened.
